Tatteco

About the project

While working with Tatteco, an online retailer of minimalist temporary tattoos, we were responsible for creating product and catalogue imagery used across the brand's websites and digital storefronts.

The challenge with this type of photography is that the product itself is incredibly subtle. Every image needed to feel natural and effortless while still highlighting the fine details, placement, and scale of each design. Our focus was on creating clean, modern imagery that allowed customers to easily visualize how the tattoos would look when worn.

We adopted a minimalist approach throughout the project, using soft lighting, natural skin tones, and simple compositions to keep the attention on the product. Rather than overwhelming the viewer with props or elaborate styling, the goal was to create photographs that felt authentic, refined, and aligned with the brand's aesthetic.

Consistency was a key part of the process. With a large catalogue of designs, each image needed to work individually while also fitting seamlessly into the wider collection. This meant paying close attention to framing, editing, colour balance, and overall presentation to ensure a cohesive visual experience across the website.

Projects like this are a reminder that successful product photography isn't just about taking a good photo. It's about understanding how visuals support a brand, guide purchasing decisions, and create a stronger connection between a product and its audience.

Working with Tatteco allowed us to combine technical precision with a clean creative vision, producing imagery that was both functional for ecommerce and true to the brand's identity.
